Based on classification and pay plan for Classified employees:
Grade 16 $15.95 per hour
Qualifications/Certifications:
GROUP LEADER I:
- Must be age 18 at time of employment
- Experience working w/children
PREFERRED
- HS diploma or equivalent
LICENSES REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid State Driver's License
- Dept. of Children & Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hrs online as inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs-12 hrs
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/ARD cert or obtain certification within 90 days of appt date
- GP Leader I - BAS I: Level I (24 hrs online) for the School Age Cert or obtain training by starting within 90 days of appointment with completion within 1 year of appointment
GROUP LEADER II:
REQUIREMENTS:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience working with children
LICENSES REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid State Driver's License
- Dept of Children & Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP-8 hours online as inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course Achieving & Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs-12 hrs
- GP Leader II - BAS II: Level I & II (48 hrs online) of the School Age Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/ARD cert OR obtain certification within 90 days of appt date
- GP Leader II - BAS II: Level III (24 hrs online) of the School Age Certification or obtain training by starting within 90 days of appt w/completion within one year
