About the role
This role is responsible for supporting operational plans &
logistical strategies. Collaboration with 3PL and freight partners. Daily tasks
include inventory& storage, facility management and freight analysis to
maximize cost effectiveness and efficient product movement.
Essential
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure compliance, and optimize service levels and costs
- Evaluate performance and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards
- Manage and analyse inventory levels (cycle counts) to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Monitor on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and other relevant metrics to ensure operational excellence
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the logistics operations to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all internal departments and coordinate the implementation of the appropriate levers to improve performance.
- Maintain team culture of high service standards.
- Oversee facility maintenance.
