Job Summary:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program Instructor (RN) at Brewer Center for Health & Rehabilitation develops and delivers training to prepare trainees for the CNA credentialing exam and provides quality care to residents. The successful candidate will possess a valid state nursing license, advanced degree or certification, and experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on clinical training sessions, including real-world scenarios and practical experience in a Long-Term care setting
- Evaluate student performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance
- Encourage continuous learning and professional growth among students
- Aide with the recruitment and interviewing of prospective students
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements
