As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within our facility by acting as the first point of contact for all residents, families, and visitors. This entry-level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long-term care and its many career opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalismManage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficientlyReceives inquires and releases information in accordance with established policies and proceduresCoordinate appointments, meetings, and resident activitiesReceives newspapers, mail, and gifts for residents.  Forwards items as necessaryCreates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the dayIf you are passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere, in an environment where your expertise and dedication are valued and appreciated, we invite you to join our team as a receptionist!

Qualifications of a Receptionist include:High school graduate or equivalent preferredAbility to read, write and comprehend EnglishExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPrevious experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferredProficient in using office equipment and computer applicationsEmpathy and understanding towards the needs of residents and their families
