Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling product in a distribution center / warehouse environment safely and efficiently. This role requires operating a forklift, picking orders, preparing shipments, performing cycle counts, and loading / unloading trucks. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, forklift experience, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Handle products safely and efficiently utilizing a forklift .Pick orders from stock or staging areas .Assist in accurate preparation of outgoing shipments , including packaging, wrapping, kitting, assembly, weighing, paperwork processing, and labeling .Provide cycle count support to ensure inventory accuracy.Load and unload trucks with outgoing and incoming materials .Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment .Follow safety protocols and company procedures .Ensure all orders meet quality and accuracy standards .Physical Demands
Operate motorized equipment such as a forklift , with the ability to climb on and off as required .Frequent standing, bending, and lifting .Ability to lift and handle materials regularly .Visual acuity required to ensure accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent desired .3 years of forklift driving experience (previous Forklift Certification a plus).Strong safety record .12 years of picking experience to develop familiarity with material handling methods and accuracy requirements.Basic computer skills .Excellent attendance record .Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions .Ability to understand and speak English .Demonstrates Brewers core values of Learning, Innovation, Integrity, and Collaboration (LINC).Regular and consistent attendance required .Key Competencies
