What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer Intern position at Brewer Science?
Summary :
As a Controls Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in developing, and implementing manufacturing control systems for manufacturing equipment that enables Brewer Science to have world class manufacturing capabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Work with team to develop controls programs (C# .NET) based on standard programming methods.
- Assist with debug and commission control systems at our facilities during system integration.
- Test, and integrate hardware and software components such as analog devices, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems, lasers, and other control related hardware.
- Provide thorough testing of machine functionality to verify that the software program meets the project requirements.
- Works with other languages and systems as necessary, such as the data acquisition system.
- Works with the rest of the controls team to support the development of electrical, controls, software, and data collection systems.
