Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with machinery and equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs on heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, and bucket trucks.
- Utilize power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency.
- Operate high voltage systems safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Climb to access elevated areas for inspection and repair purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in repair work on heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with high voltage systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to climb and work at heights as required by the job duties.
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus, including bulldozer and backhoe operation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
