Lead Daytime Host

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant, menu, and wait times.
• Assist guests with inquiries and special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Utilize HostMe system for managing guest check-ins and reservations efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, lobby and bathrooms.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest services.
• Familiarity with a reservation system, is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, occasionally you may be asked to stay until 4 pm if required by the business (especially during holidays).

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
