Spanish Teaching Position
Brewster Academy, an independent co-educational boarding and day school located in
Wolfeboro, NH, is seeking a Spanish teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. The
primary responsibility includes teaching four sections of Spanish courses at various
grade levels. In addition to classroom teaching, candidates will be expected to serve as
an advisor to a group of 6-8 students, coach an afternoon sport, lead or support other
co-curricular activities, and live in a dorm or serve as a dorm affiliate.

Qualified candidates possess at least a bachelors degree in the subject area and
experience designing and implementing differentiated instruction. Candidates should
also have strong interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of the developmental needs
of high school students, and enthusiasm for working in a culturally and linguistically
diverse boarding school environment. Preferred qualifications for this particular position
include familiarity with the Comprehensible Input (CI) approach to teaching and
assessing students linguistic proficiency.
