Description
Position Purpose
Responsible for transporting residents and staff in facility vehicles as directed and maintaining necessary logs as directed by Supervisor.
Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job
- Transport residents in company vehicles to appointments (i.e., physicians, shopping, etc.)
- Transport and coordinate with Activities Personnel for trips both in and out of the city, and oversee a weekly transport of residents for grocery shopping in 24-passenger bus; assist residents as needed to maintain their safety in all transportation duties.
- Maintain vehicles for cleanliness; maintain logs as directed including recording of all services performed. Assist with basic troubleshooting in identification of mechanical concerns while performing transporting duties.
- Conduct all duties with professionalism and work as a team member.
Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Valid Kansas Drivers License
- CDL License (preferred)
- Knowledge of Topeka (preferred)
