What you'll do
The Executive Researcher will play a critical role in identifying, mapping, and engaging top-tier leadership talent across Brex. This role will focus on delivering high-quality research and market intelligence to help drive executive hiring across all business functions.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in talent research, competitive intelligence, and proactive sourcing, with a deep understanding of executive search best practices. They will leverage data, industry insights, and innovative sourcing techniques to build strong pipelines for senior leadership roles. This role will partner closely with the Executive Team and key business leaders, delivering strategic talent insights that directly shape hiring decisions and ensure Brex attracts world-class leadership talent.
Where you'll work
This role is based in our San Francisco office, with a hybrid work structure that includes in-office collaboration on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We also offer flexibility, allowing employees to work remotely for up to four weeks per year.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and talent mapping to identify top executive talent across industries
- Build and maintain pipelines of senior-level candidates for key leadership roles
- Develop sourcing strategies to engage and attract high-caliber executive talent
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand business needs and hiring priorities
- Provide competitive intelligence and insights on talent trends, organizational structures, and market dynamics
- Utilize research tools, databases, and networking strategies to identify passive executive candidates
- Track and analyze sourcing effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed to improve executive hiring outcomes

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $126,560 - $158,200. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
