What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contstruction Project Manager position at BRI Staffing, Inc.?
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited institution with a degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management in the commercial construction industry.
- Must demonstrate ability to represent the company well with industry and professional peers.
- Ability to read/interpret construction documents and shop drawings.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize activities and meet established deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam. Experience with AutoCAD, Tekla, and Trimble products a plus.
- Ability to drive to and from and be mobile in either the plant or jobsite environment.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
