Your Role
Under the direction of our CFO, you’ll play a key role in managing financial processes for both companies, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and organization in all accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable – 40%
- Assist with onboarding new AP automation and software integration
- Process vendor invoices and credit card charges, ensuring accurate allocation and classification of expenses
- Handle a high volume of transactions with strong attention to detail and efficiency
- Maintain organized AP files, email inboxes, and vendor records
- Assist with the annual 1099 process
Accounts Receivable – 20%
- Prepare and send monthly design time billings to clients
- Process payments and manage timely collections
- Generate monthly product billings
Month-End Close – 40%
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- File sales and use taxes across various states
- Assist with reporting and ad hoc analysis as needed
General Responsibilities
- Provide weekly status updates to the CFO
- Be proactive in problem-solving and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in an accounting specific role, including experience in the e-commerce/retail and/or interior design industry.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principle
- The ideal candidate will be familiar with the intricacies of bookkeeping for the interior design industry.
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Design Manager (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A natural problem solver with a proactive approach

Salary : $70,000
