Responsibilities
- Supervise and delegate nursing activities
- Help the director of nursing manage clinical operations and develop care plans
- Evaluate performance by the nursing department and recommend improvements
- Conduct patient rounds and address complaints
- Monitor and train the nursing staff
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in long-term care, preferably as ADON
- REGISTERED NURSE (RN) in the State of Illinois and in good standing
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
