Responsibilities

  • Supervise and delegate nursing activities
  • Help the director of nursing manage clinical operations and develop care plans
  • Evaluate performance by the nursing department and recommend improvements
  • Conduct patient rounds and address complaints
  • Monitor and train the nursing staff

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in long-term care, preferably as ADON
  • REGISTERED NURSE (RN) in the State of Illinois and in good standing
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
