About the Role:
The ADON will be responsible for supervising and delegating nursing activities, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating the performance of the nursing department. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and delegate nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the director of nursing
- Evaluate the performance of the nursing department and recommend areas for improvement
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in long-term care, preferably as an ADON
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois and in good standing
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment, including PointClickCare
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
