Care Services Director Role
- Oversight of social services programs in your facility, including planning and implementation.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, including mental health professionals.
- Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as wellness recovery action plans and illness management.
- Oversight of treatment program implementation.
- Coordinate referrals for residents who require external services.
- Develop and coordinate educational in-services for staff.
- Clinical case supervision of all treatment personnel.
- Oversight of potential resident assessments.
- Development of Performance Improvement Project (PIP) tools to enhance care delivery.
Requirements
- Must meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code.
- A minimum of two years' experience in direct care for individuals with psychiatric disorders.
- Three years' supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to act decisively and delegate authority effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
