Social Services Director Role:
As a Social Services Director at BRIA, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our mental health programs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to address the complex needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive social services programs, incorporating evidence-based treatments and best practices
- Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver exceptional care
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational in-services and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Provide clinical case supervision to treatment personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Work closely with colleagues to assess potential residents and develop strategies to enhance care delivery
Requirements:
- Meet the definition of a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts as defined by the Illinois Mental Health Code (LCSW, LCPC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PMHNP, LMFT, etc.)
- Minimum two years of experience in direct care of individuals with psychiatric disorders
- Three years of supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
