Infection Control/Wound Care Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Provide primary skincare to residents with expertise in wound care management.
- Identify, manage, and treat skin disorders, including primary and secondary lesions, decubitus ulcers, and other complex wounds.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate family members, staff, and residents on the importance of nutrition, skin barriers, hydration, turning, and repositioning for optimal wound healing outcomes.
Infection Control/Wound Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited nursing education program.
- Illinois registration as a Registered Nurse.
- No history of abuse records.
- One year of experience in wound care is preferred.
