What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Drafter position at Brian Cleveland Architects, Inc?
Brian Cleveland Architects is a fast growing architectural practice with project types including municipal facilities, multi-family housing, commercial tenant fit-out, corporate offices, & single family homes. We are looking for a experienced drafter who is able to work well in a team setting with good communication skills. They need to be proficient at assembling construction documents and detailing along with good 3D modeling and rendering capabilities. Applicants should be skilled in all phases of the project process including: Space Planning, Detailing, Code Compliance, and Construction Oversite.
Applicants will be expected to work in-office and occasionally be able to travel to job sites. Candidate will work under the supervision of the principal architect to develop project designs, make presentations, develop the project into working drawings, and produce project required technical information for project bidding and construction.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have a Bachelor or Masters of Architecture, or Bachelor of Science with an architectural focus.
- Have 6-8 years of experience in space planning, design, code review, estimating, working drawings, and specifications while at an architectural office.
- Have advanced knowledge of Revit for both 3D modeling and construction drawing production.
- Be able to generate conceptual design presentations and working drawings rapidly to meet deadlines.
- Maintain proactive dialogue with project team and clients through strong written and verbal communications.
- Licensed or on the path for licensure.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
