Job description: Development Associate
Reports to:
Executive Director to support development of donors, sponsorships and fundraising activities of the Brian Dagle Foundation and their community.
The Brian Dagle Foundation — anchored in hope and empowered to support, is dedicated to the healing of grieving adults as well as community education on suicide prevention and awareness.
Schedule:
This 10-12 hours per week position is Monday through Friday and includes both in the office and work from home. Weekends required when events are scheduled.
Compensation:
$25.00 per hour

Development Coordinator Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and maintain the organization's donor database and fundraising records
- Prepare and distribute fundraising materials, such as proposals and donor reports
- Develop and implement grant annual grant schedule
- Developing and implementing fundraising plans,soliciting donations, and managing donor relationships.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining files
- Analyze fundraising data and prepare reports to inform decision-making processes
- Assist with budget management and forecasting for the development department
- Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years related experience; nonprofit experience a plus.
- Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Grant Writing & Management: Identifies and pursues new sources of grant funding. Prepares grant applications and maintains relationships with grantors. Manages the grant reporting process to ensure compliance and continued support.
- Develops and manages sponsorships. Identifying and cultivating donors to participate in year-round sponsorship opportunities. This includes securing support for the annual campaign, as well as for special events. Creates tailored sponsorship packages that align with donor interests and Foundation needs, ensuring strong relationships and consistent engagement with sponsors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision.
- Solid written and oral communication skills and excellent phone manner.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
