Purpose and Description A Team Member is the front-line customer service representative for Brian-Kyles. A Team Member typically performs tasks that may include mowing, pruning, trimming, digging, raking, mulching, irrigation, placing boulders, installing patios and masonry walls, and planting shrubs and trees. Work assignments include using power tools and small to mid-sized equipment. Job Duties & Responsibilities Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, and other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Operate power equipment including, lawn tractors, trailers, mowers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, sod cutters, and chain saws Install and move soil, mulch, and plant materials to assist with the construction of landscape gardens and related areasInstall interlocking pavers, natural stone, concrete, and stamp concrete.Install both dry-stack and masonry garden and retaining walls.Prepare truck for the day - load and secure equipment on trucks and trailers.Perform routine safety inspections on vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Assist Team Leader in other work-related duties including shop and equipment maintenance
