Hostess Department: Food and Beverage

Reports To: Director of Dining Services

Position Summary

This team member is responsible for providing superior food and beverage service to the Club’s membership.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet the members by name
• Inspect dining room and preparation areas for cleanliness and assign the appropriate staff to correct any problems
• Update the menus for the current shift
• Maintain host stand and front of the house display areas to project a clean and attractive image
• Schedule dining reservations and notify manager and servers of any special requests
• Assign table sections to servers Coordinate the activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to members
• Greet members by name, escort them to the table and provide menus
• Take, relay and serve To Go orders
• Report dissatisfied members to manager
• Maintain overall restaurant readiness, cleanliness and sanitation
• Total receipts at the end of the shift, verify and record sales information and turn in the day’s receipts
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Complete Cross Training in Restaurant, Bar, Banquet and Kitchen Departments
• Assist with other projects, club events, and duties for The Briar Club, as assigned.
• Practice good hygiene prior to reporting to work and when returning to your assigned workstation. This includes, but is not limited to washing your hands, avoid touching your face, limiting unnecessary physical contact with others, coughing/sneezing into a tissue or the inside of your elbow, and disinfecting frequently used items and surfaces in your work area as directed by Management using company provided cleaning products.
• Wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment such as masks or gloves from time to time as directed by the Company.

• Must be able to communicate with members and their children
• High School degree preferred

Work Schedule - MUST BE AVAILABLE TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

Subject to change based on business and availability

10am-2pm 4pm-9pm Tuesday -Sunday
