Responsibilities :
- Perform a detailed inventory of in-house stock routinely; order all food and supplies necessary to efficiently operate the department within budget; and practices stock rotation when receiving food deliveries and placing new stock in department.
- Supervise or prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures; assist in ensuring proper and safe food handling, preparing and storing; supervise, assist and direct the daily cleaning duties to ensure a sanitary environment; and, perform all daily tasks in accordance with established Universal precautions and sanitary, safety and infection control procedures.
- Perform interview with all new Residents to obtain diet history information in conjunction with the RD; effectively communicate within dietary department to meet Residents' needs / preferences.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
