Briarlake Partners is a strategic sourcing recruiting firm. We are working with a Miami-based client looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. This role will focus on running strategic sourcing projections for IT categories (hardware, software, cloud, and services). Our client supports a hybrid working environment requiring three days a week in their Miami (Doral area) office.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university plus 3 years related experience in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement; or equivalent combination of education / experience.
- Strategic Sourcing experience in IT is preferred but not required.
- Experience developing and communicating category strategies.
- Demonstrated analytical skill set including financial cost analysis, should cost, and total cost of ownership.
- Working knowledge of eRFX tools.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write contracts, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
