The BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! is NYC’s longest-running, free performance festival, and a beloved summer tradition featuring approximately 30 varied large-scale performances and attracting upwards of 200,000 people each summer to the Prospect Park Bandshell.



About the Onboarding & Administrative Associate role: 


BRIC seeks an Onboarding & Administrative Associate to assist with employee onboarding and seasonal administration for BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!.


 

What You’ll Do in the Role:


The Onboarding & Administrative Associate  will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager, the Associate Director, People & Culture: 


  • Digitally distribute and collect onboarding paperwork for 100 seasonal employees, including new and returning hires
  • Complete I-9 verifications, including collecting and filing copies of identification
  • Maintain tracking documents for all seasonal hires
  • Distribute NY Anti-Harassment Training materials to new hires and collect certificates upon completion 
  • Work with People & Culture team to ensure that all tax forms are completed accurately, corresponding with hires to correct documents as needed
  • Assist staff with accessing ADP and completing timecards, virtually and in-person
  • Maintain consistent lines of communication with BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn Hiring managers to ensure all new hire information is accounted for
  • Maintain organized system for tracking and onboarding all seasonal new hires and new hire information
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks across competing deadlines, and be proactive. 


 

Other Things to Know:


  • Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $25
  • Status and location
    • This is a part-time position, between 15 - 25 hours/week April - early June.
    • This role requires an onsite presence at the Prospect Park Lena Horne Bandshell a minimum of 2-3 days per week for the first 6 weeks, and intermittently onsite following.
