We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to oversee and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of code standards, specifications, and metalworking, as well as the ability to manage schedules, personnel, and workflow to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.
- Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations.
- Establish and adjust work sequences to align with the construction schedule, considering equipment and personnel capacities.
- Maintain time records and ensure accurate reporting.
- Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.
- Direct the fabrication of assemblies in the shop.
- Estimate work-hour requirements based on project schedules.
- Work collaboratively to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Extensive CNC and machine shop experience.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to develop and improve processes.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience supervising and guiding crews of 5 employees.
- Good judgment and initiative in problem-solving and decision-making.
