We are seeking a full-time, fully onsite Receptionist (also known as Front Desk Associate) to join our team.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Bricker Graydon is seeking a Receptionist to join our Office Services Team, in Cincinnati, OH. This individual will help create a warm, inviting experience for guests, clients, and internal employees. Performance of responsibilities may require communication with partners, attorneys, clients, staff, vendors and others, and therefore, incumbents must possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills and exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: “Essential functions” are primary job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted or with some reasonable accommodation made by the employer.
- Greet and direct Bricker Graydon visitors, while providing a warm, positive experience.
- Determine the purpose of each person’s visit and directs/escorts them to the appropriate location.
- Notify internal team members when visitors arrive.
- Respond to visitors’ questions via phone, email, and in-person communication.
- Monitor security and communication systems.
- Follow company procedures and policies appropriately to ensure we are upholding a safe, efficient environment.
- Ensure all mail and packages are signed for and delivered to the appropriate employee.
- Create, maintain, and update conference room schedule.
- Build strong, professional relationships with individuals who work at Bricker Graydon.
- Work with Facilities Department to resolve any building issues.
- Assist our Office Services team with additional projects and responsibilities as needs arise.

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED required.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of Reception experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook and Word).
NICE-TO-HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working within a law firm.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Professional, warm, and inviting when communicating with visitors, clients, and staff.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with great ability to multi-task.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively and adapt quickly when new priorities arise.
- High attention to detail and quality focused.
- Quickly pick up on new processes, procedures, and technology.
- Natural problem-solving abilities, especially while thinking on the spot.
- Outstanding typing, spelling, proofreading and grammatical skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.

- May work flexible hours as necessary.
