Brickham Stamping Co is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk/ HR/Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles.

The hourly rate for this position is $ 28.00/hr. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications. The core hours are 7am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.

Duties
- Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist with payroll management and benefits administration as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable activities and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Conduct double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support corporate accounting functions by providing necessary documentation for audits and financial reviews.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and invoice processing.
- Administer new employee hire orientation, paperwork, and employee programs.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience
Candidates should possess a solid background in accounting or finance, with experience in human resources and payroll a plus. Proficiency in accounting is essential, along with familiarity with general ledger reconciliation processes. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively is crucial for success in this role. Previous experience in payroll management or benefits administration will be considered an asset. A minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping experience required.

Work Environment
The work environment described is representative of those an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. An office environment is typical for this position, with occasional visits to the shop/warehouse when necessary. The noise level is generally quiet. The employee will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when performing responsibilities within the shop/warehouse (etc. safety glasses, safety toe shoes, etc.).
