We are an Ace Hardware store seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our team, playing a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations and the pursuit of company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Exceptional Customer Service: Be the face of our store, fostering positive relationships with customers and team members, embodying a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth opening and closing of the store, maintaining an organized and customer-friendly environment.
• Team Collaboration: Participate actively in management and staff meetings, contributing to effective communication and teamwork.
• Staff Support: Assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of our dedicated associates.
• Department Oversight: Take charge of various aspects, including cashiering, inventory management, merchandising, and the customer service department.
Requirements:
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in basic Windows computer operations and experienced with POS software.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage various store functions effectively.
• Basic Office Skills: Possess basic Word and Excel skills for administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
• Retail Management Experience: Previous experience in retail management is essential, providing you with the insights needed for success.

Physical Requirements:
