Claiborne Senior Living is hiring an experienced Director of Wellness to join our team. As the Director of Wellness, you'll have the opportunity to enhance the lives we serve while enjoying a range of benefits and incentives. We are looking for an RN or LPN who is a hands-on collaborative leader with strong communication skills and proven success in management. Working as the Director of Wellness you are responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.

Director of Wellness Duties:
- Plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Manage the health care of all residents, including the dissemination of information to families and staff.
- Assesses residents on a scheduled and as-needed basis, records significant conditions and changes. Responsible for nursing department 24/7, shares on-call duties.
- Performs other duties consistent with position as assigned
- Educates and trains care staff.
- Communicates with physicians and family members as appropriate.
Director of Wellness Qualifications:
- Maintain a current RN or LPN license in the state
- Minimum 5 years of Nursing Experience
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Experience working with people with dementia
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Experience working with an electronic health record system
