Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure applications while designing job schedules for high-risk, complex requirements.
- Install and update software for critical systems, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Conduct design and code reviews, leading deployment across multiple environments.
- Influence vendor decisions on overall direction, standards, and solutions.
- Approve test plans, oversee test execution, and validate test outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration needs and technical design.
- Lead database design and contribute to high-risk, advanced technical solutions.
- Develop proof of concepts and technical/design documentation aligned with business requirements.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in coordination with internal and external teams.
- Identify technical issues and determine resolutions while mitigating risks.
- Define requirements for technical environments and set the technical scope for projects.
- Contribute to engineering budget planning and provide input to senior/project managers.
- Establish and enforce coding/configuration standards, architecture, governance, security, and global process standards.
- Conduct performance monitoring, identify optimization opportunities, and implement performance remediation.
- Develop performance test scripts and execute testing to ensure application efficiency.
- Analyze business requirements and develop performance testing scenarios to meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in SAP systems, with expertise in both legacy AFS and new S4 SAP systems.
- Proficiency in one or more hot skill technologies such as Java, .NET, SAP, PeopleSoft, See Beyond.
- Proven ability to analyze, debug, and create solutions for SAP-related applications.
- Experience in database design, performance tuning, and test execution.
- Strong understanding of technical governance, security, and coding best practices.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive technical decisions.
