Brand Merchandiser

We are seeking a Global Brand Merchandising Accessories Specialist to join our team, focusing on innovative product franchises. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of consumer and marketplace landscapes, with proven retail acumen, analytical skills, and an understanding of diverse retail environments. This role requires agility and autonomy, driving consumer-centric product offerings across multiple merchandising dimensions, from insights to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute consumer-focused assortment plans by blending fact-based analytics with intuitive insights.
• Participate in seasonal reviews and collaborate with marketplace account-focused merchants to refine assortments.
• Balance multiple seasons, contributing insights for future planning and supporting upstream partnerships within Global Merchandising.
• Manage in-depth assortment planning for assigned areas during the seasonal process.
• Gather and analyze consumer trends and marketplace insights from in-market seasons.
• Translate consumer, sales, trend, and marketplace data into actionable, breakthrough strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Global and Geo Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Brand Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Analytics.
• Rely on quantitative and qualitative business reporting to drive decision-making.
• Prepare seasonal tools and resources to support marketplace partners in understanding seasonal priorities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• 2 years of experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail within Footwear, Apparel, Accessories, or a similar consumer product domain.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in retail and/or digital metrics (e.g., sell-through, margin, full price realization, weeks of supply).
• Proven experience working with Tableau and Assortment Visualization (AV) tools.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential, with experience in Keynote and PowerPoint as a plus.
