Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical 3D-CAD Design Engineer to join our hardware design team , working on cutting-edge consumer electronics hardware . In this role, you will :
Lead mechanical design efforts for high-volume consumer products
Develop and optimize 3D CAD models using CREO
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions
Guide and review external design work
Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturing requirements
Key Responsibilities
Create and optimize 3D CAD designs for hardware components
Own subsystem development and oversee the entire mechanical design lifecycle
Provide design reviews and technical guidance to external teams
Lead and attend cross-functional meetings to ensure project alignment
Research and implement best practices for mechanical engineering design
Required Qualifications
10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering design
10 years of hands-on experience with 3D CAD modeling (preferably CREO)
5 years of experience in Design of Electronic Hardware
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing
Preferred Skills
Experience in consumer electronics design
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly)
