Merchndise Financial Planner

We are seeking for a Merchndise Financial Planner, who will partner with Marketplace Units (MPUs) and the broader Merchandise Financial Planning team to define and lead multi-season financial plans. You will oversee end-to-end fiscal and inventory planning and ensure alignment between assortment plans and merchandise financial plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage pre-season and in-season Merchandise Financial Plans (Revenue, Margin, and Inventory) for geographic, gender, and MPU segments.
• Influence financial objectives by reconciling top-down fiscal targets with bottom-up assortment plans, balancing available supply and consumer demand.
• Align assortment plans with the Consumer Architecture and overall merchandise financial strategy.
• Drive trade-off decisions across MPUs to optimize marketplace inventory, maximize margins, and meet consumer demand.
• Guide strategic planning across multiple seasons to shape financial outlooks.

Qualification:

• 4 years of experience in retail planning, merchandise financial planning, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and integrate insights into actionable business plans.
• Expertise in retail metrics, including Retail Sales, Sell-Through %, Weeks of Supply, Marketplace & Distribution Center Inventories, Revenue, and Margin.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, turning data into actionable insights.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions, contributing to strategic conversations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Must-Have Skills:

• 3 years of experience in sales, assortment planning, and merchandise financial planning.
• Experience in inventory management planning.
• Proven ability to analyze and manage revenue and inventory trends.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Marketplace merchandise financial planning experience.
• Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning experience.
