What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Business Analyst (Energy & ETRM) position at BrickRed Systems?
Are you a seasoned Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM)? Do you have a passion for digital transformation, sustainability, and renewable energy? If so, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Conduct business process and system analysis, ensuring alignment with sustainability and renewable energy goals
- Define and document business/user requirements, process flows, and functional specifications
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Data Teams, and 3rd-Party Consultants
- Support ETRM platform implementation and enhancement
- Lead functional analysis, backlog management, and Agile ceremonies
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations
What You Bring:
- 8 years of experience in Business Analysis (Energy sector required)
- ETRM experience is a must – candidates without this will not be considered
- Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience in QA testing, system design, and process documentation
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and IT teams
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and renewable energy markets
- Proven track record in leading digital transformation projects
