The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for assisting with daily distribution tasks, including moving totes, handling UPS pallets, and replenishing ice trays. This role involves labor-intensive activities such as picking, packing, and order processing. Trays can weigh up to 25 lbs., requiring physical stamina. The associate ensures the accurate and timely processing of orders while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, returns processing, and shipping.
- Handle replenishment and inventory management, including in refrigerated areas.
- Verify shipments, inspect merchandise, and report discrepancies or defects.
- Use a radio frequency (RF) scanner for stock picking and inventory tracking.
- Assemble customer orders by pulling stock from shelves and preparing shipments.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and assist with audits.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
