Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to create a positive dining experience for our guests while contributing to menu planning and execution.
Kitchen Stations include but are not limited to general prep, salads, fry station, main line including grill, flat-top, 6-burner, and from scratch pizza station.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Create new menu ideas & specials to run for both full entree menu as well as Neapolitan pizza menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all dishes are prepared in a safe and sanitary environment.
- Support the culinary team in menu planning and execution for various events, including catering services.
- Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cooking tools, while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn from experienced kitchen staff.
- A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals is essential for success in this role.
