Maintenance Technician

We are hiring an Experienced Maintenance Technician for Multi-Family Community in Dayton, OH. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall appearance and maintenance of the apartment community. Candidate must have maintenance knowledge to include basic carpentry, interior/exterior maintenance, painting, appliance repairs, electric, plumbing, HVAC, etc.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Respond and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
• Resolve and provide preventative maintenance and repairs on, electrical, plumbing, and appliances
• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Must be available for after-hour emergency calls when needed

• HVAC (EPA Required)

• Framing
• Carpentry
• Swimming Pools (CPO Preferred)

Requirements:

• Must have a least (4) years of maintenance experience
• Must have strong plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting skills
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have excellent people skills
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Pool Experience a plus
• Reliable transportation required
