Brick yard Auto Parts, is looking to fill the role of a General Manager!

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that both our yard operations and scrap & recycling business run efficiently. You will oversee the full lifecycle of vehicle processing, from acquisition to dismantling, ensuring vehicles are properly prepared for our customers and for scrap recycling. This role requires a strong leader who can optimize processes, manage a dynamic team, and drive both retail sales and scrap operations to maximize profitability. This position reports directly to the COO.
Essential Job Duties:
- We are looking for someone who is extremely self-motivated
- Automotive knowledge and customer service experience are preferred
- Sales experience is a must
- Negotiations Skills are a must
- 2-3 years of experience in the scrap industry with experience in buying cars, parts sales, and processing cars through the end of the life cycle preferred
- Manage the salvage and recycling operation with approximately 5-7 employees under your supervision.
- Ability to work in a hands-on, all-weather outdoor environment.
- Effectively mentor, train, and coach current & new team members to success.
- Set goals for the team that align with overall company goals.
- Ability to execute and complete the company playbook (daily objectives).
- Auditing inventory levels and inputting information into the inventory system
Qualifications
- High school or Equivalent (GED)
- At Least 1-year auto parts experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, bend, twist, and reach above the shoulders
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office products/applications).
- Strong administrative /organizational skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Able to pass a drug screening and a criminal background check if requested
