**Job Overview**
Brickyard Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing Services to lead our team in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.
In this role, you will oversee regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility; moral of the staff; and ensure resident needs are being addressed.
You will also be responsible for leading the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan, monitoring each department's activities, communicating policies, evaluating performance, providing feedback, and assisting, observing, coaching and disciplining as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility
- Lead the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan
- Monitor each department's activities, communicate policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and assist, observe, coach and discipline as needed
- Ensure consultants and other support resources are appropriately utilized and a high level of interdepartmental teamwork is maintained
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Currently licensed as Health Facility Administrator in state of practice
- Completion of the company EDIT Program and/or prior experience as an Executive Director
- Experience in performance management and effective leadership
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
