Corporate Retirement Professional – VP Sales / New Business Development
Financial Services Company specializing in Corporate Retirement Plans is looking for an experienced financial professional for New Business Development and sales. This is a long-term growth opportunity for a sales-driven person with the potential for a partnership in the future.
We require an Experienced Sales Professional to be an integral part of the team, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with an emphasis on:
- New business development focusing on 401k, 403b, profit sharing, cash balance, defined benefit plans, and PEO’s
- Working with the founding partner to maintain our existing client base in addition to developing new business opportunities
- Cultivating relationships with existing CPA’s, centers of influence and clients, while developing new referral relationships
Responsibilities Include:
· New business development using effective prospecting strategies via phone, email, social media and in-person meetings
· Utilizing the company’s marketing materials, networking groups, Bridge Benefits database, and other lead-generation opportunities to create new business development
· Partner with the BBG 401(k) Marketing team to increase prospect pipeline
· Develop specific commercial sector targets and customize messaging to them
The person we are looking for:
· A dynamic, driven, self-starter with a strong work ethic who is organized, disciplined and forward thinking
· Prior Corporate Benefits, Financial Services, and/or Insurance experience preferred
· Series 7, Series 63 and/or LAH insurance license required
· Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Can work effectively individually, as well as on a team
· Knowledgeable in MS Windows Office Suite, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Financial Institution websites, MorningStar, etc
The position has a base salary ($60k-$80K depending on experience), plus sales commissions and bonuses.
