Job Summary:

Bridge Brothers Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to apply finish to steel and aluminum pedestrian bridges. Industrial Painter/Sandblaster is responsible for the preparation, painting, and maintenance of industrial equipment, structures, and surfaces by removing old coatings, applying new protective coatings, and ensuring a high-quality finish that meets safety and industry standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Set up blast pot and nozzle equipment


• Sandblast surfaces or remove rust and mill scale as necessary


• Mix and apply paint or other coatings


• Use a brush or Airless spray gun to coat areas as necessary


• Notify manager of inventory needs


• Follow all safety regulations



• Maintain all painting and blasting equipment

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)


• Painter Certifications


• Minimum 2 years of paint experience (i.e., 2 part epoxy, zinc coatings, high-performance coatings, etc.)


• Comprehend and adhere to all manufacturer specifications


• Strictly follow customer contract requirements

Preferred:

• 5 years of Industrial Paint experience


• NACE Certification


• SSPC Certification



• Forklift experience

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)


• Painter Certifications highly desired


• Minimum 2 years of paint experience (i.e., 2 part epoxy, zinc coatings, high-performance coatings, etc.)
  
  

Physical Requirements:

Use of hand tools

Heavy lifting

Extended periods where you may be standing, squatting, bending.
