Quality Control/CWI

The QC/CWI will be responsible for thorough quality checks of products, planning, organizing,

Primary Responsibilities:

• Quality Control of the layout, assembly, and installation; ensure it is maintained to the utmost standard of AISC and AWS certifications.


• Perform worker evaluations and disciplinary actions to hold accountability with employees.


• Ability to resolve issues quickly to get production moving and meeting deadlines.


• Ability to manage and work within a team.



• Ability to operate various electrical and hand tools

Requirements:

• Experience in the structural steel industry, welding, and knowledge of AISC/AWS required.


• CWI certification


• Must be able to travel up to 45% of the time


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 5 years of experience, less if education is combined to meet requirements.


• Forklift experience

Physical Demands:

• fast-paced environment


• Occasional bending, stooping, crouching, standing for long periods of time.


• Ability to safely lift 80 lbs of material as needed.



• Capable of working in a noisy environment

Details:

• Hours: 6-4:30am EST
  • 
    Overtime as Needed


• Monday through Friday


• Full Time, Exempt


• Eligible for Benefits after 90 days



• Occasional travel necessary as needed.
