We are seeking an Expert Software Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and managing Microsoft Windows platforms and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MECM, Windows 10, DNS, DFS, DHCP, and Active Directory, including software deployment and administration of Group Policy (GPOs). Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills are essential.
- Manage and upgrade servers, workstations, and software using MECM.
- Administer and support Windows 10 environments.
- Configure and maintain DNS, DFS, and DHCP services.
- Deploy software and manage Group Policies within Active Directory.
- Provide clear and concise documentation and verbal communication.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph required to start
- Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline
Strong Engineering experience with the following core Microsoft Windows platform/services:
MECM
Experience with Server, Workstation, and Software upgrades using MECM
Windows 10
DNS, DFS, and DHCP
Active Directory (including software deployment) and administration of Group Policy (GPOs)
Strong verbal communication and documentation skill
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline
- Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects
- Knowledge of Agile development principles
- Microsoft AZURE certifications resulting in the ability to cloud design, implementation, and configuration
- Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g. Java, C, C , C#, Python, Perl, etc.) or the ability to automate through PowerShell script
