Responsibilities:
- Obtaining technical data from independent observation, review with technical staff members, and/or studies of published materials and existing documentation.
- Working with specialists, analysts, programmers, etc., to obtain background information of technologies, methods, and standards.
- Interfacing with users to help resolve questions and issues with the system.
- Tracking user issue resolution and leveraging responses to develop FAQs and knowledge management materials.
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers.
- Performs quality assurance on all materials.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in writing user documentation or software support
- Demonstrated ability to learn and explain complex technical concepts.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good troubleshooting ability.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with the Assessment & Authorization Process
