Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Monitoring & Observability Engineer with strong expertise in Dynatrace and ELK to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance monitoring, logging, and observability tools to ensure system reliability, security, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and maintain Dynatrace & ELK for monitoring and logging solutions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application observability.
Work with Alertsite & SolarWinds Orion for network and infrastructure monitoring.
Develop dashboards, alerts, and reports for system health and performance analysis.
Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to improve observability best practices.
Ensure monitoring solutions align with security policies and compliance requirements.
Perform root cause analysis for application and infrastructure performance issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace & ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Good exposure to Alertsite & SolarWinds Orion
Experience in monitoring cloud-based and on-premises applications
Strong knowledge of log management, performance monitoring, and incident response
Ability to create dashboards and alerts for proactive system monitoring
Hands-on experience in scripting languages (Python, Shell, or PowerShell)
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure monitoring tools
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
