Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to join a critical project for TCS/Vanguard in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud, production support, and experience in handling Major Incident Management (MIM) calls.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in and lead MIM calls to resolve high-priority incidents.
Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical applications.
Monitor system performance and reliability; troubleshoot issues proactively.
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and support teams for root cause analysis.
Automate operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tools.
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems.
Must-Have Skills:
7 years of experience in Production Support / SRE roles.
Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
Proven experience in handling Major Incident Management (MIM) scenarios.
Familiar with monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.
Good scripting knowledge (Python/Shell).
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Nice-to-Have:
ITIL certification or MIM experience in a financial domain.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
