POSITION SUMMARY
Bridge House is seeking a Navigation Manager to manage and oversee our Navigation program in the Tri Cities. This program is an intentional, sheltering model designed to address the needs of adults experiencing homelessness by provided shelter combined with individualized assessment, navigation case management, housing plans, and access to services including mental health, medical care, and employment assistance

Bridge House, a Boulder-based non-profit organization, provides an array of resources to help adults experiencing homelessness access basic needs and opportunities to stabilize in housing and employment. Services include meals, overnight shelter, case management, employment opportunities, as well as access to mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and housing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Oversee all aspects of the Navigation program including operations, case management, community partnerships, and stakeholder engagement
- Successfully lead a staff of approximately 15 to achieve Navigation’s mission and service goals for sheltering
- Responsible for guiding all Navigation program elements including operation of Navigation overnight shelter, day time activities including check in, case management, meals and coordination of onsite service partners
- Act as an example of integrity and inspiration for the staff and clients
- Oversee staff training and work closely with Human Resources to hire key program staff
- Ensure daily implementation of Navigation policies including, but not limited to, program protocols, safety procedures, client tracking and data collection methods, and Bridge House agency rules
- Ensure a safe and positive program culture
- Supervise and manage staff including building operations, case management, and peer teams
- Oversee building functions including security, maintenance, and facilities
- Oversee daily census and tracking of clients and work with staff to ensure clients are participating in navigation plans to achieve desire program outcomes
- Complete inventory checklists
- Integrate data collection and reporting procedures into daily operations to ensure up-to-date reporting on program activities
- Maintain knowledge of and grant compliance for Path to Home funding sources and participated in program evaluation as needed
- Set and oversee staff assignments and schedules to ensure smooth program flow and adequate coverage
- Implement systems for communication and transparency within Navigation and other BH departments including human resources and purchasing
- Coordinate on-site volunteers in conjunction with the BH Volunteer Coordinator
- Ensure that the Navigation program is a good neighbor and steward of community resources
- Participate in community meetings as needed
- Collaborate with Executive Director on community relations, developing and nurturing funder relationships, and long-term planning for homeless services in Arapahoe County and the Tri Cities
- Lead facilitation of regular staff meetings.
- Assist with fundraising as needed
- Maintain budget compliance
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education: Bachelor's Degree, CAS or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in homeless services, substance abuse treatment, workforce development, corrections reentry programming, case management, or a related-field
- 3 years of management or supervisory experience, in a residential or shelter setting preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with data collection and tracking
- Professional and personal integrity
- Ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to providing trauma-informed care
- Flexibility with both availability and duties
- Commitment to Bridge House and Path to Home mission
- Passion for helping others succeed in transitioning out of homelessness
- Valid, clean driver’s license
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- This is a full-time, in-person, benefit-eligible position based in Englewood, CO and will directly report to the CEO.
- Salary dependent on experience beginning at $56,000
