Make a Lasting Impact
- Create and manage complex financial models for acquisitions, financing, construction draws, new lease analysis, and investor reporting using Argus and Excel.
- Support due diligence on potential new acquisitions, including site visits, market research, and lease analysis.
- Develop comprehensive investment committee memos and offering books.
- Design and maintain corporate and portfolio models detailing cash availability and distributions.
- Oversee disposition processes, including financial information, due diligence, and offering materials.
- Prepare regular reporting for BLP's investors and lenders.
- Build relationships with brokers and market participants, collect data, and contribute to thought pieces for investors.
Your Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as an analyst or associate in finance or real estate, with expertise in Argus Enterprise and Excel-based models.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to calculate industry-standard financial metrics (IRR's, equity multiples, etc.). Experience with joint venture models and distribution waterfalls a plus.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
- Strong work ethic, proactive approach, and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
Compensation Package
The anticipated salary range for candidates based in Newport Beach, California is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, plus a 20-25% bonus. Hired applicants will also be eligible for an annual performance-based discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors, including experience, education, and performance.
