Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our team and provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with toddler-aged children (18 months-3 years old).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of preschoolers
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students
Experience
- Previous experience in a preschool setting is preferred
- Previous Montessori Experience preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus
- Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial
- Experience in nannying or childcare is advantageous
- Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
- Minimum 12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler units
- Must be team minded and solutions oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
